I have a sweet “Love You” card today. This card can serve as a Valentine’s Day Card, an anniversary card, or just to send someone you love a sweet card. I used several dies, two hues of cardstock, and pattern paper from the Simple Stories collection called, “My Valentine.”
The card base is an A2 size (4.25″ x 5.5″) and is made from Spellbinders Color Essentials cardstock in alabaster color. The green is 65 lb cardstock in a bright green. The fish tail banner is a frosted vellum I purchased from Paper Junkie on Amazon.com. I used several dies on this card. First, the pattern paper (name listed above) with the roses was cut with a postage stamp edged die from Hero Arts called Postage Stamp Infinity Dies. The vellum was cut with a banner die from Scrapbook.com called Nested Banners. The frame was cut with a die from Simon Says Stamp called Frames. The iridescent border on top of the vellum is from Love From Lizi in the UK.
The butterflies come from the same pattern paper as the roses, I just fussy cut them out. The LOVE YOU greeting also comes from the pattern paper. The gold hearts are peel-off stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs. You can see some of these items in the image below.
