Cascading Butterflies Card

I’m making a beautiful card with some gorgeous butterfly stickers and pattern paper from the Spellbinder’s Card Kit of the Month for December 2021 called, “Beauty is Everywhere.” Now, I know it’s January, but I just got the kit due to shipping delays. I’ll be making several cards from this kit, so stay tuned.

It is actually a very simple card to make. I trimmed the blue pattern paper to 2.25″ x 5.5″. The orange pattern paper was trimmed on the left side to ensure the peacock was still visible after the butterflies where placed. The butterfly stickers come in the kit and all you have to do is choose which ones to use and how to lay them out on the card. I used a die that is in the shape of an S to cut the orange pattern paper and I aligned the butterflies along that edge, being careful to make sure I had room so they didn’t hang over the right edge. The ones at the top and bottom are purposefully placed so they hang over…I just cut the excess off. You can see this at the bottom of the image below.

The only thing left to do is stamp a greeting. The stamp comes in the kit along with others. I used a black ink to stamp it.
