Create an Elegant Notecard using Scalloped Symphony Notecard dies by Becca Feeken at Spellbinders

These two cards are so lovely and elegant. The gorgeous, intricate Scalloped Symphony Notecard dies along with the pearl paper makes them so. The cards look complex, but these dies and paper make it so simple to create this look. Just use the dies with the paper and glue them together, stamp and emboss a greeting….viola….you’re done! (Unless you want to embellish them with some pearls, which I did on the circular notecard you see below.

There are ten dies in this die set and they can be used in several ways. You can use the intricate dies to cut out the pattern directly from your card base or you can use it with the outline die to cut the shape out completely and layer it on a background that can be cut with the background die. Another choice is the center. You can leave the center in or cut it out with the center dies. So many choices and looks can be achieved with these dies.

I used Cricut pearl paper with the dies because they are so luxurious and beautiful. I have two packs of these specialty papers. One is the pastel pack and the other is the neutral pack. The orange color comes from the pastel pack and the cream color comes from the neutral pack. I apologize that these paper are hard to find. I’ve had them in my supplies for a long time and couldn’t resist using them for this project. They were perfect for it. BUT, I have included a link to an alternative below. To see a demonstration of how I made these cards, see the video below.

I used the Cricut pearl paper neutrals and pastels paper packs. They are difficult to find online. I found something that appears to be similar, but there is no description about the type of paper except that it says it is pearlescent. It is the
