My card for today is an Easter card with a plaid background and stamped and die cut Easter eggs. I used Zig Memory System Twin Markers and a clear ruler to make the plaid background. The ruler is from Westcott. The card base is from Neenah solar white 110lb classic crest cardstock. The images are stamped on watercolor paper because I used the Zig Clean Color Brush markers on the stamps before stamping them. I did stamp them more than once to get a better impression. It is not necessary to use both types of markers. I just liked the look of the brush markers when using them to “ink” up a stamp. FYI, the Zig Memory System Twin markers are archival quality, which means that they are acid free and lightfast. A nice option for scrapbookers looking to preserve their work. I could not link them for you because the set I have is 20 years old (really) and I’m not sure they package the same colors in the new pack. It didn’t look like it on Amazon. Seriously, you can use any pastel color markers you have!
A link to the YouTube video is below as well as links to the products I used. The links are free for you to use, and if you purchase anything, I will receive a small percentage of the sale because I am an Amazon.com and Scrapbook.com affiliate. Thank you for supporting my card making habit ;0)
