He is Risen!

This is our hope:  He is Risen! Because He lives, all fear is gone. Death, where is your victory? Where is your sting? (1 Corinthians 15:55-56) What hope we have in Jesus.

To celebrate Easter, I have a beautiful card for you. The cross is a stamp set called, “Layered Cross” by maymaymadeit.com. I used distress oxide inks in the colors of the sunset to create a background for the cross. Then, I used versafine ink to stamp the layers of the cross, which are made of leaves and flowers. To make it stand out even more, I used Moonlight gel pens to color the flowers and leaves. Finally, a mat of black cardstock and a fuchsia card base really sets the card off right. Don’t forget, the cross was not the end of the story, because Jesus rose from the dead!

Quick and Easy Easter Card

easterquickandeasy2019

I’m so glad you found me today! Welcome to my blog. I made these cards with just a few simple supplies:  paper, cardstock, stickers, border punch and adhesive. There was only 1 optional thing, a greeting stamp for the inside greeting. I trimmed the pattern paper to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and the solid paper about 3.75″. You can totally eyeball the solid paper! Then I adhered them to my card base with double sided adhesive. Finally, I placed some puffy stickers on the front and I was good to go. You can watch the process on the YouTube video below. The products I used are listed here. The links are free and I get a small percentage of the sale for any products you purchase because I am an Amazon.com and Scrapbook.com affiliate ;0)
