Some of my favorite colors are the earthy colors of fall.  The deep rich reds, oranges, and golds we see on the falling leaves are so warm and welcoming in my opinion, but I didn’t want to make a card with fall leaves as I had last year.  Instead, I decided to use a herringbone stencil to create an embossed background.  I chose this technique because coloring the raised area through the stencil allows for a multi-colored background.  Please check out my YouTube video of the card below and then see the list of products I used below that (I am an Amazon affiliate):
